The NBA Play of the Year
Murdoc may not approve of the honor I’m about to bestow upon his enemies, the Miami Heat…But they deserve it.
In last night’s game against the Pacers, Dwyane Wade grabbed a defensive rebound and proceeded to hurl the ball down nearly the entire length of the court. While his strength was certainly impressive, it’s his accuracy that has people talking. Wade connected with LeBron James at the other end of the court, and James ended the play with a beautiful finger roll off the backboard to score. It was, by far, the best play I’ve seen all season. Watch the vid below.
Sure, one might say that this doesn’t tell us anything about the strength of the Heat, or their ability to advance deep into the playoffs this year. But one thing’s for sure: they’re definitely starting to click as a team. And if they can keep it up, LeBron might finally get that championship he’s been waiting for.
