Favre to Play for Detroit, Wants to Play for Every NFC North Team
Today was supposed to be the last time we saw Brett Favre on a NFL sideline. However, Favre could not help thinking about returning for his 21st season after watching the play of Detroit quarterback Shaun Hill. At the post-game press conference, Favre said, “With Shaun Hill being over the hill and a young Matthew Stafford prone to injury, I think there is a real opportunity for an aging, grizzled, veteran quarterback to come in and play here.” Now, Favre did not come out and say that he will go into retirement (as he has so many times) only to return to a team mid-training camp, but I believe all Jim Schwartz needs to do now is send Ndamukong Suh, Jahvid Best, and Calvin Johnson down to Hattiesburg and say the Detroit Lions players need Favre to come back. Favre ended the press conference by saying, “The Detroit Lions are looking up. They have a roof over their stadium!.”
Well, maybe I made most of this post up, but it could happen right? I mean, its Brett Favre!
